Newton Clear Damp Proofing Membrane - 40m²

Newton 803 Clear is a low profile damp proofing membrane to be used in situations where the finishes required are plasterboard on timber batten or independent metal or timber framework systems.

This clear membrane is lightweight, pliable and easy to bend around corners or protrusions. Newton 803 Clear creates a physical barrier between damp salt-contaminated walls and clean dry internal surfaces.

Installing Clear Membranes

To fix the Newton membrane to the wall either use Newton self-sealing Multi Plugs which can then be fixed into with a screw (for fixing battens or metal track systems) or Newton 800 mesh plugs primed with Newton Mastic to hold the membrane against the wall then a free standing wall to be constructed in front of the membrane.

Above ground, the system can be butt jointed (like wallpaper) then over sealed with PermaSEAL Fleece Strip or Newton Corner Strip.

Newton 803 is light, clean and easy to handle. It can be cut with a sharp knife, scissors or shears.
