Easi-Fix Masonry Pinning Nozzle Set

Brick and Masonry pinning nozzle & collet set

Designed for use with the Ultra Point Pointing Gun Kit and 6-8mm Easi-Fix Helical spiral bars for the installation of fully grouted wall ties to a maximum depth/ length of one metre.

Fully grouted lengths of Easi-Fix Helical Bar are used as standard repair techniques for a number of different applications. These applications include:

• Fully grouted reinforcement tie
• Retying wall junctions or intersections
• Stabilising bulging solid, or rubble-filled walls

Using the brick pinning nozzle

The Masonry pinning nozzle is attached to the Ultra Point Pointing Gun Kit nozzle by cutting the pointed end away, inserting the tube through the nozzle and locking in place with the collet.

Load the pointing gun with PermaCEM Anchor Grout and pressurise through the nozzle. At this point wind the Easi-Fix helical bar into the grout and nozzle. Once in place put the nozzle into the pre-drilled hole (14mm - 16mm (see below) and inject the grout and bar into place.

The pinning nozzle is one metre and should be used in a 14-16mm bore, depending on hole depth. For a hole less than 500mm we recommend 14mm and for a hole from 500mm to one metre we recommend a 16mm drill bit.
