Hydroprufe Primer 5L
Hydroprufe Primer is a black, bituminous priming liquid used in conjunction with Hydroprufe 3000 Self-Adhesive Tanking Membrane in order to consolidate the substrate and ensure a complete and effective bond with the membrane.

Hydroprufe Primer is a black, bitumen primer liquid. It is designed to be used in conjunction with Self-Adhesive Tanking Membrane. It consolidates the substrate and ensures a complete, effective and strong bond with the tanking membrane.
As part of a self-adhesive membrane system, the primer helps impart long lasting waterproofing to the structure.
This hydroprufe primer is not suitable for application to ICF (Insulating Concrete Formwork) or insulation boards. In these cases, a water-based primer is required.
Application of Self-Adhesive Tanking Primer
Preparation:
Make sure surfaces are smooth and free from dust, grease, growth or other foreign or loose material.
Application:
The primer is simple to use. You can apply it by brush or roller.
You need to allow the primer to dry fully before you install the self-adhesive tanking membrane. Drying time can vary significantly depending on surface temperature, ventilation, and how porous the substrate is. We recommend that the primer is covered with a tanking membrane within 24 hours of application. Surfaces may need to be re-primed if the area has become too dusty.
Important Note: Do not apply if the surface temperature is below 5°C. Clean brushes with white spirit.

Coverage on concrete: 6 - 8m²/litre
Coverage on lightweight concrete: 3 - 5m²/litre
