Membrane Fixing Plugs
PermaSEAL membrane fixing plugs are designed for use with clear or mesh waterproofing membranes. They are simply fitted by drilling a 10mm hole through the membrane into the substrate. You can then either apply PermaSEAL Rope or PermaSEAL Brick Plug Washers to the head of the plug before hammering home to create a secure seal.
The membrane plug has a pre-drilled hole in the head which is designed to accept a size 10 (5mm) screw. This is so you can secure finishes to it such as timber battens or metal track dry lining systems. The membrane fixing plug head also has a pre-formed "key" so it can be used with renders or dot and dab plasterboard without de-bonding.
