Damp Proof Course Injection Cream Kit - Aida

Our ever popular Aida Injection Cream is now available in a Professional Kit. The kit includes:

• 1 x 5 Litre of Aida Injection Cream
• 1 x 5 Litre Economy Injection Unit
• 1 x 12mm x 300mm SDS Drill Bit

Aida Injection Cream is an easy to use, high performance damp proof course injection cream. Based on a silane /siloxane pure cream emulsion, the damp proofing cream is introduced into 12mm holes in the mortar joint approximately 150mm above the external ground level at 100mm-120mm spacings.

Once installed into the holes, the damp proofing cream then returns to its liquid phase and penetrates the substrate spreading along the mortar course lining the capillaries with silicone thus reducing the ability of the substrate to absorb and transport water.

When cured Aida damp proofing cream creates a complete water repellent barrier along the mortar joint. This prevents any damp in the substrate below from rising, creating a new chemical damp proof course.

Application Rates/ Requirements:

This kit will treat up to 50m of 9" wall or 100m of 4 1/2" wall

As with all Damp Proof Course Injections, salt contaminated plasterwork must be renewed. It is important that the re-plastering specification is strictly adhered to and that the plasterer carrying out the work is made aware of the importance of the re-plastering being carried out to specification in conjunction with the insertion of the new chemical damp proof course.
